Technology + system: printing innovation needs two legs

innovation is the soul of an industry development. Without innovation, any industry will stagnate and eventually be left behind. As a comprehensive professional and highly technical industry, with the rapid development of science and technology, innovation, especially technological innovation, has become the key to determine whether the industry has competitive strength. At the same time, as a processing service industry, the printing industry must provide high-quality and humanized services, constantly carry out institutional innovation, and implement scientific management to provide guarantee for high-quality services. Technology innovation, management innovation and system innovation are the inevitable way for the development of printing industry. Recently, this newspaper had a discussion with the relevant comrades from the printing and reproduction management department of the General Administration of publication, and conducted in-depth discussion on the innovation road of China's printing industry

technological innovation has been developing for too long: there is great room for development

more than 20 years of reform and opening up; For customers to do a better job of the experimental machine, support the developing printing technology in China to bid farewell to the "lead and fire", experience the "light and electricity" and enter the digital network stage. The Chinese character laser Phototypesetting technology invented by Professor WangXuan of Peking University is an important technological revolution. China is the original country of printing, but since entering the era of modern industrial revolution, the innovation ability of printing technology in China has lagged behind that in foreign countries. Domestic printing enterprises rely on imports of high-grade printing equipment and equipment to a large extent. The printing equipment produced by the core technology with independent intellectual property rights in China is very limited. By absorbing foreign advanced technologies and the unremitting efforts of industry experts and enterprises, the manufacturing technology of domestic printing equipment has become mature. In addition, sheet fed offset printing machines and rotary offset printing equipment with relatively high technical level have been able to produce independently in printing machine enterprises in Beijing and Shanghai. At present, these equipment still have a broad market in China, and some domestic printing enterprises generally use these machines for printing. In recent years, printing supporting equipment has been a highlight of China's printing technology innovation. Many of them are developed by China's independent intellectual property rights, such as various plate making, binding equipment and cutting equipment. There are different degrees of technological innovation in technology. In recent years, with the rapid popularization of digital network technology, the printing industry has entered the digital network era, and the innovation of printing technology in China is more urgent. At present, the computer direct plate making system (CW) and the digital printing machine have yet to be independently developed and produced in China. Although the digital network era has brought challenges to China's printing technology innovation, it has also brought opportunities. In this regard, we still have a lot of room to develop. PKU founder has begun to develop its own digital printing machine. The digitalization and networking of printing have also brought printing software design, printing data network transmission, printing digital management and other related products. Some domestic companies have begun to make achievements in these fields

the lack of innovation ability of China's printing technology, especially in the research and development of high-end printing and plate making equipment, has an important relationship with the weak foundation of China's printing technology. After the founding of new China, China's printing teaching and research institutions continued to expand, but the shortage of Printing Science and technology talents could not be solved in a short period of time. Although the country has established a printing technology research institution, both capital and R & D capacity need to be improved, and technological innovation with independent intellectual property rights is imminent. The crux of the insufficient innovation of printing technology needs innovative talents, multi pronged efforts and guaranteed investment to be effectively solved

system innovation: only reform can make progress

in the traditional sense, it is often thought that printing innovation is only the progress of science and technology, which only sees the professional and technical attributes of printing, and ignores the service attributes of printing. Printing is not only an industry with high requirements for professional technology, but also a processing service industry. Some western countries classify printing as a service industry. In particular, the packaging and decoration printing industry can better reflect the attribute that printing is serving people and people-oriented. This requires that the printing industry not only make progress and innovation in technology, but also reform and innovation in system, so as to serve customers and people well. There are articles to be done for institutional innovation, ranging from government departments to a specific enterprise. In recent years, there have been many bright spots in the institutional innovation of China's printing industry. In 2001, the State Council promulgated the newly revised regulations on the administration of the printing industry, under the unified management of the national printing industry. 2 The punch mechanism is selected according to the required anti pendulum impact energy. For example, the original publication printing is under the supervision of one department, while the packaging and decoration printing is under the supervision of another department. Different printing plants are under the supervision of different departments, but the same printing industry needs to be managed by multiple departments. After the centralized management of the printing industry, the chaotic situation of printing multi head management was solved, and good conditions were created for the management, rectification and standardization of the printing industry. In recent years, the system reform of state-owned printing enterprises and the internal management system reform of various printing enterprises have also achieved positive results. After the system reform in recent years, many old enterprises have begun to glow with new vitality. Although institutional innovation has made many achievements in the printing industry, there is still a big gap in talent management. We now have many printing enterprises, which do not lack high-tech and high-end printing equipment. Some of our enterprises' hardware is no worse than others, but the quality of printed products is not as good as others. This is directly related to our management of people and the comprehensive quality of employees. Some enterprises lack high-level printing and binding personnel, and some enterprises do not lack technical personnel such as printing collar machine and plate making, but ignore the training of personnel in related studies, color, optics, chemistry and mechanical physics. As a result, we have many products. Although the printing equipment is very advanced and the color manuscript is very exquisite, the loss and regret of printing quality deviation are caused by the lack of understanding of the manuscript by the technical operators and the failure to achieve the necessary combination of technology and art

the progress of the printing industry should rely on the synchronous innovation of technology, management and system. All comrades in the printing industry must cherish historical opportunities, adhere to the scientific concept of development, and drive the healthy and sustainable development of the whole printing industry
